Three campaign events in four days, and the last day of early voting. Here's when and where each event is, where to vote early in Lubbock County, and what to bring.

Lubbock has three campaign events in four days this week, and the last day of early voting falls on the same Friday as the third. Here is what is scheduled, where, and how to vote before Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3. All times are Central.

  • Doors open: 2:30 p.m.
  • Program begins: 4:30 p.m.
  • Remarks begin: 6 p.m.

An RSVP is required through the official event page, which allows up to four tickets per signup and says registration is not complete until it is verified by phone. The official page lists the doors and remarks times; the 4:30 p.m. program start is from Lubbock Lights' Oct. 22 update. For parking, security and what to bring, see what to know before the rally.

TUESDAY, OCT. 27: JAMES TALARICO

Registration is on the campaign's event page.

FRIDAY, OCT. 30: GOV. GREG ABBOTT

Gov. Greg Abbott is expected at a get-out-the-vote event at 12:15 p.m. at The Funky Door Bistro & Wine Room, 6801 Milwaukee Ave. Lubbock Lights reported the visit citing a source close to the governor's office; Abbott's campaign had not confirmed it as of Oct. 23. According to Lubbock Lights, an online invitation listed on TicketLeap names Texans for Greg Abbott as the organizer and describes the event as free, with food and light refreshments provided.

WHAT TO BRING

To vote in person in Texas, bring one of seven acceptable forms of photo ID, according to VoteTexas.gov: a Texas driver license, Texas Election Identification Certificate, Texas personal identification card or Texas handgun license, all issued by the Department of Public Safety; a U.S. military ID card with your photo; a U.S. citizenship certificate with your photo; or a U.S. passport (book or card).
