West Texas AI Project Ledger
Every identified project, what its dollar figure actually measures, how far along it is, and where each number comes from. Counted once, labeled honestly. As of 2026-10-24.
This is the data behind The AI Empire in Plain Sight, XNewsAi's investigation. Totals update when a project is added, resized, cancelled or completed. Money that is not investment, such as contract revenue, is listed separately and never added in.
Identified project values · West Texas · as of 2026-10-24
$119.5B–$139.5B
Identified project values — gross, mixed definitions. This is not the amount already invested, financed or spent.
The range adds every West Texas AI-related project we could document and put a dollar figure on, each counted once and each labeled by what its number actually measures: company capital estimates, state building registrations, financing programs, approved university budgets and requests. It excludes contract revenue, capacity-only projects and anything we could not tie to West Texas.

THE MAP: WHAT IS WHERE, AND HOW REAL IT IS
Every project with a documented location, numbered to match the key below. Marker size follows the largest figure we found for it; the outline and fill show how far along it is. Pick a status to dim the rest, or select a marker to jump to its row in the ledger. Locations are schematic — placed by county or town, not at surveyed sites.
